Patterned Paper and Ribbon

December 9, 2012 § 4 Comments

Just the other day I was looking at some pattern paper and thinking how I never use them. Then I saw the inspiration card at CASE study challenge by this month’s muse Windy Robinson

The first thing I noticed was the pattern paper and the beautiful embossed die cut. Since I never used patterned paper in my card before, and neither ribbon, I decided to make a card using these two things:

Pattern paper and ribbon

The flowers  are made out of pattern paper using a memory box die and I used Speellbinders Nestabilities Die Label 4 for the white backdrop.

Thanks for looking :)

  • I was just realizing the same thing!! patterned paper needs to be used not hoarded! lovely card, though your bow looks sad (like he’s frowning) and I am not sure why he is a he and not a she? but that’s what I think!

I love your pretty flowers and how your bow matches your pp perfectly! The die cuts are beautiful with the stamped sentiment!

Absolutely beautiful, Tasnim! I love your colour selection for this gorgeous card, and the patterned paper is a perfect background. :-) Congratulations on making the Top 3 at CASE Study!

I must admit to having rather a large paper stash but rarely use it LOL. Great use of patterned paper and colour. Thanks for joining us at CASE Study this week :)
